Oh gods, but I hate tourists!
It's bad enough when they're on the road and they don't know where they're going. The ones I have around usually have a notion of where we're going.
Anyway.
I've been playing hostess for three days now and I've been told I needed to update. So.
Cue bitch-session.
He's a nice guy on the whole. I'm sure Mom likes him or he wouldn't be here. But that's the problem. He's always RIGHT! HERE! I'd like a little alone time. He'd like to spend some time *clears her throat* WITH Mom. I've been trying to let them get some time together so they can go about their little whatever-it-is-that-they're-doing. Yes, I now they're fucking. Or they have once. On Monday. Dunno about yesterday and I think they might be going at it now. I dunno. I've got the speakers turned WAY up.
Good song too. Sain-Saens version of la Danse Macabre.
Anyway, he's from New York, doesn't like our stop lights - says they take too long - and is simply amazed at the town. I've been showing it to him bit by bit. Tomorrow I'm dragging him to the little second-hand book shops.
He keeps making fun of the town. For some reason it's gettin to me. OIr maybe it's just the stress. There's been a lot of that this week.
He keeps nitting at me too.
"You don't cook for your mother?"
"You don;t have anything to eat in here!"
"You don't have anythingk to cook with!"
"Why don't you have a car?"
"Why don't you have a lisense?"
"Well, If you actually thought about it..."
"She keeps taking me to these little vegitarian cafes."
"Nothing's open, there's nothing to do!"
Duh. It's nine thirty. We can't go in the shops, but the parks are open. We can look around, yadda.
Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating a tad. Maybe he's just doing it in fun. And he has cooked twice.
There's just something...
Grr.
Oh well. Book shopping tomorrow.
Maybe I'll find Magic: the Gathering. Ooo...and Gamemaster Comics. I love mom&pop stores.
Going away now. I'll be back later when I'm feeling more lucid. I'll give a better account and not just a rant. *waves*
