Trying again...

R.I.P

Bandit

? {~1983} to August 03, 2004

She was a good mouser, even if she left the carcasses where you'd step on them or sometimes leave them on your chest while you were sleeping. She never played with store bought toys, preferring ribbons on a stick, bubblewrap or a lazer pointer. She always licked the 'gravy' off her wet food before eating the 'meat'. She'd hawk up and wait for you to step in it. She would lay on your stomach winter or summer. She'd lean on the keyboard while you were typing.

Recently - just a couple weeks... - she started limping. So we took her to the vet today. For a normal checkup.

She had Feline Osteosarcoma - a tumor in her hipjoint.

She didn't even fight the vet at 10:50 when she went under the needle. She drew another breath and was gone.

Thank you Bandie; for the fun, the memories - even the times you hawked up on my leg and foot.

Thank you Robyn and Kay for letting her stay with us.

I'm sorry... I hope you can forgive me.

Being able to fly would be cool, but only if I could fly fast. Flying slow is floating, and that's just creepy.
