An Introduction to the World

Well. This evening was fun...

I have a Father now. A man who loves me and promised me before his gods and our family that he would protect me, love me, guide me and help me. I love him. He loves me and we showed our family this today. It was a rather small ceremony - Me, Rick, Mom, Becca, Dean, Mia and Jack and the Girls. As the focus was on me and Rick, it was Nordic - his path. Father Odin was asked to come as was Frigga, Loki, Freya and Thor. Rick said his oaths and I wish I could have said something past my tears. I was so happy. Becca said a small piece about what she saw us bring to each other and to the group. We were given ribbons in the colors that my Mother and Aunt Becca though suited us best, we said out piece and broke the groud. We sat and spoke and just basically had fun together.

Now...I have a choice. I can be selfish and join my family on Saturday. Or I can be selfish and join her and Spots and try to help her. I want to go with them, but I have plans with family. Maybe they could forgive me. I don't know.

I hate it when my friends hurt. Especially someone as close to me as Robyn. I let so very few close and 'Hope' is the one I give everything to. Or that I try too. I know I'm not any good at it, but I try my best, I honestly do. I wish I could do more - I've told her this, but I can never seem to find the right words, strange for some one who thinks of themself as a 'writer', hmm? Locked in the very few words I allow myself.

You see? I can't tell people anything. I know perhaps four people read this and I still can't say much. The focus of the paragraph changed. I can't stay on topic....

Maybe I'm just tired. I don't know.
