Ugh. Physically - shortish day. Noon to fiveish. I think. I'm...not really sure.The whole day has been something of a haze, until for Wal-Mart with Dad. I'm n ot sure why - it just seemed to snap me back into being 'Tema' again. Guess I just went back in 'sideways' today.
Heard from P., who heard from R. (co-workers, btw. P. is an inserter-misc. like me and R. is the remaining pressman.) that the Boss isn't happy with my inserting speed - said I was too slow - only doing two thousand inserts. I think I was doing okay for only being there a few weeks yet and also doing _other_ 'chores' that I was hired to do, since it was a print day...
I dunno. Hasn't really changed my attitude about work. It could be hearsay - though I did catch a few bits of convos Thurs. and Wednesdy, though I did stop listening...habit. I'm still going to plod along and push myself to get better - though it did tick me off a bit. Feh.
Boss is in a bad mood, so I'm gonna let it roll, but...*shrug*
O'course - it could just be people tring to rile others up. Who knows.
Anyway - home, online and with my feet in a water-massager thing.

Oh - on Wednesday, I met a guy at Caveman - semi-local comic, second hand music, video games, books and card game shop. Owned by Vintage Stock which has stores in KC {Overland Park area} Joplin and two in Springpatch. Maybe more. those are just the ones I know.
Anyway - he has some friends that are doing White Wolf's Vampire Chronicles {sort'a} and gave me his number. I gave him my email addy and he seems nice. Might call him later in the weekend.
Off to surfing.
